We provide training for alternative types of gearboxes including automatic, synchromesh, and constant mesh. Light Rigid

Broaden your horizons and get licenced to operate a motorhome in Australia with a Light Rigid licence. This also allows you to drive a 4.5-8 tonne truck or a mini bus that seats more than 12 passengers.

Medium Rigid

Looking for work in freight delivery, furniture removal, coaches, and more? You’ll need a Medium Rigid licence. This qualifies you to operate a:

Light Rigid vehicle
Up to 8-tonne bus or truck with a maximum of 2 axles including a prime move or mobile crane
Up to 9-tonne towed trailer

Heavy Combination

Upskill and acquire a Heavy Combination licence. This licence allows you to operate a:

Heavy Rigid vehicle
Heavy Rigid vehicle
Truck, prime move or crane with a 9-tonne single trailer
Heavy rigid vehicle trailer combinations including unladen dolly with 3 or more axles

To apply for the above licenses, you must be 19 years old or over and have held a driver’s licence for more than 2 years. For Heavy Combination vehicles, you must also have held a Medium Rigid or Heavy Rigid licence for at least 12 months.
